After years of dedication and hard work, Sabino and Maria Hernandez have officially opened Corn Taco Restaurant & Bar in Schuyler. What began as a small food truck has grown into a full restaurant, celebrated with a grand opening weekend filled with mariachi, live music, and a community excited to support their journey.

Sky Haven Subdivision officially opens with a ribbon cutting celebration, marking a major step forward in expanding affordable and workforce housing in Schuyler. Developed in partnership with Schuyler Community Development, K Herman Development, and supported by Rural Workforce Housing Funds, the project brings new rental units and single family homes to meet the growing needs of our community.

Rebuilding Together is expanding into Schuyler, bringing critical home repair services to seniors, veterans, and families in need. With a team member available at the Homestead Center every Tuesday and Friday, residents can now connect locally for support, information, and opportunities to get involved.

What was once an empty hospital gift shop has been transformed into a thriving, student run business led by Grant Torpin’s SCHS entrepreneurship class. The Heart of Schuyler Gift Shop is more than retail space, it is hands on learning, local partnership, and community pride all in one. With support from CHI Health and strong student leadership, this project showcases the power of youth entrepreneurship and the bright future of Schuyler.
